Senior Manager: Programmes
About the Role
Lead and coordinate CEIRD’s entrepreneurship incubation, skills development and farmer support programmes. Responsible for strategy, partnerships, performance and impact reporting across all programme value chains.
Key Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Development Studies or related field
- Minimum 8 years management experience in rural development or agribusiness
- Proven track record managing donor / government grant programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
Farmer Support Officer
About the Role
Provide on-the-ground mentorship, technical advice and production input coordination to emerging farmers in the Farmer Support Programme.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture / Animal Science / Crop Production
- 3+ years experience working with emerging farmers
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern Cape
Skills Development Coordinator
About the Role
Coordinate SETA-accredited short courses across poultry, vegetable production, livestock management and agro-processing. Manage learner enrolment, facilitator scheduling and assessment quality.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Education, Training or related field
- Knowledge of AgriSETA / SETA processes and POE management
- 3+ years experience in skills development or learnership programmes
- Strong administrative and facilitation skills
Internal Auditor
About the Role
Plan and execute internal audit assignments across operations, finance and compliance. Report findings to the Audit Committee and recommend control improvements.
Key Requirements
- B.Com Internal Auditing / Accounting
- Registered with IIA SA or pursuing CIA
- 4+ years internal audit experience (public sector or NGO preferred)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
Farm Lodge Manager
About the Role
Oversee the day-to-day running of CEIRD Farm Lodge — bookings, guest experience, catering, housekeeping, maintenance and revenue performance.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality / Tourism Management
- 4+ years hospitality management experience
- Strong customer-service orientation and people-management skills
- Computer literacy and familiarity with PMS systems
